You can help feed the hungry in the Benton Harbor area with monetary or food donations.

Clients are not charged for any services or food provided. Our Board of Directors is very active running our fund-raising events, but 75% of our annual operating revenue is donated by you, our generous community members.

Financial Support
We can buy food for as little as $0.16 a pound or less, so we can use your donation very efficiently. We also must pay all the other costs of running a business. (Example: our electric bill for July was over $600. The many freezers and refrigerators run hard in the summer.) You may donate online, drop off or mail donations.

Whirlpool Employees: Please remember to send in a signed "Matching Gift" form with your donation. At no cost to you, the Whirlpool Foundation will DOUBLE your contribution!

You may also donate online with most credit cards. This processes through PayPal, but you do not need a PayPal account to donate.

Food Donations
We accept food donations from 9:00 am - 1:30 pm daily. Food can be fresh, canned or frozen. If your donation exceeds our current needs or storage space, we will make sure that another non-profit agency receives that food. Our goal is to see that every donation is used.

Please note: we can use some food that is past the due date, but cans older than 3 years past date and grain products (chips, flour, etc.) more than 2 months past the due date must be discarded.

Fun and FUNDS!
We run several yearly fund-raising events to help support the Soup Kitchen. These annual events include the Golf Classic, Bowl-A-Thon,  Texas Hold-Em Tournament, and Tabor Hill benefit dinner. Links to the events are on the event menu to the left.
